I'd give a translation, but I can't find one for the entire song, just for the first half or so.

OMG PEOPLE LIKE MUSIC YOU DONT LIKE!! THE APOCALYPSE IS COMING ZOMG!!! aARRARarrARARGH!!!!. Seriously though, don't say bad things about the type of music people listen to if you don't like it. I don't like rap, and I say I don't like it, but I don't call it shit or anything. Plus, whoever said music had to be poetic?

But, here's two of my favs off Hatebreed's newest CD, Supremacy.

Mind Over All

When I was at my weakest
And I had given in
Some had counted me out
Some rejoiced in my failures
The few that believed
Gave me power and life
Gave me strength with their trust
Surrounding me with light

No limit to what can be achieved
Mind over all
Power that has yet to be seen
Mind over all
End the instability
Mind over all
Stare now into glory

It's within and it's growing
Their mark is not worn
It's purest devotion
It's the war of knowing
They are there for me
They are part of who I am
It's within me in spirit
And behind me in battle

No limit to what can be achieved
Mind over all
Power that has yet to be seen
Mind over all
End the instability
Mind over all
Stare now into glory
Mind over all
Become empowered

Supremacy Of Self

Some wars must be fought alone.
Am I the only on standing in my way?
Am I my own merciless enemy?
Can I stand back looking deep into death's gaze
Can I turn and face myself and the knowledge of what shouldn't be?

To look into my heart was to look into hell
Controlled by the voice of fear I was completely overwhelmed
So concerned with the things I could never change
Now I must insure to never fulfill that prophecy.

I must attain
Supremacy, of mind
Supremacy, of body
Supremacy, of spirit
Supremacy of self!

The war you want is the war I'm willing to give
Farewell to all the disbelief suspended in the depths

To look into my heart was to look into hell
Controlled by the voice of fear I was completely overwhelmed
So concerned with the things I could never change
Now I must assure to never fulfill that prophecy

I must attain
Supremacy, of mind
Supremacy, of body
Supremacy, of spirit
Supremacy of self!

This war will be won alone!

6. Destroy Everything
-------------------------------
A new life begins
Destroy everything
Obliterate what makes us weak
Destroy everything
Decimate what threatens me

Cleanse this world with flame
End this, cleanse this
Rebuild and start again
Obliterate what makes us weak

End this and embrace the destruction
End this to embrace new life
New life

Even an empty threat deserves a response you won't soon forget
I must destroy everything that tries to infect
Even an empty threat deserves a response you won't soon forget
I must destroy everything that tries infect
Destroy everything
Obliterate what makes us weak
Destroy everything
Decimate what threatens me

Cleanse this world with flame
End this, cleanse this
Rebuild and start again
Obliterate what makes us weak

End this and embrace the destruction
End this to embrace new life
New life
Even an empty threat deserves a response you won't soon forget
I must destroy everything that tries to infect
Even an empty threat deserves a response you won't soon forget
I must destroy everything that tries to infect

A new life begins

Destroy everything
Obliterate what makes us weak
Destroy everything
Decimate what threatens me
Destroy everything
So a new life can begin

Destroy everything
Rebuild and start again...again

btw to me this is poetry

Across The Universe
(Lennon/McCartney)

Lead vocal: John

~~~
Words are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup,
They slither wildly as they slip away across the universe
Pools of sorrow, waves of joy are drifting through my open mind,
Possessing and caressing me.
Jai guru deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world, Nothing's gonna change my world.
Nothing's gonna change my world, Nothing's gonna change my world.
Images of broken light which dance before me like a million eyes,
They call me on and on across the universe,
Thoughts meander like a restless wind inside a letter box
They tumble blindly as they make their way
Across the universe
Jai guru deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world, Nothing's gonna change my world.
Nothing's gonna change my world, Nothing's gonna change my world.
Sounds of laughter shades of love are
Ringing through my open ears inciting and inviting me
Limitless undying love which shines around me like a
Million suns, and calls me on and on
Across the universe
Jai guru deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world, Nothing's gonna change my world.
Nothing's gonna change my world, Nothing's gonna change my world.
or
Savoy Truffle
(Harrison)
Lead vocal: George
~~~

Creme tangerine and montelimat
A ginger sling with a pineapple heart
A coffee dessert--yes you know it's good news
But you'll have to have them all pulled out
After the Savoy truffle.

Cool cherry cream and a nice apple tart
I feel your taste all the time we're apart
Coconut fudge--really blows down those blues
But you'll have to have them all pulled out
After the Savoy truffle.

You might not feel it now
But when the pain cuts through
You're going to know and how
The sweat is going to fill your head
When it becomes too much
You're going to shout aloud

But you'll have to have them all pulled out
After the Savoy truffle.

You know that what you eat you are,
But what is sweet now, turns so sour
We all know Obla-Di-Bla-Da
But can you show me, where you are?..

Creme tangerine and montelimat
A ginger sling with a pineapple heart
A coffee dessert--yes you know its good news
But you'll have to have them all pulled out
After the Savoy truffle.
Yes you'll have to have them all pulled out
After the Savoy truffle.
Sorry for the huge size, but Beatles are the best.

Headstrong-By Trapt

Circling your, circling your, circling your head
Contemplating everything you ever said
Now I see the truth I got a doubt
A different motive in your eyes and now I'm out
I'll see you later
I see your fantasy you want to make a reality paved in gold

See inside, inside of our heads yeah, well now thats over
I see your motives inside, decisions to hide

Back off, I'll take you on
Headstrong to take on anyone
I know that you are wrong
Headstrong, we're headstrong
Back off, I'll take you on
Headstrong to take on anyone
I know that you are wrong
And this is not where you belong

I can't give everything away
I won't give everything away

Conclusions manifest
Your first impressions got to be your very best
I see you're full of s**t and that's alright
That's how you play I guess you get through every night
Now that's over
I see your fantasy you want to make it a reality paved in
gold
See inside, inside of our heads, yeah
Well now thats over
I see your motives inside and your decision to hide

Back off, I'll take you on
Headstrong to take on anyone
I know that you are wrong
Headstrong, we're headstrong
Back off, I'll take you on
Headstrong to take on anyone
I know that you are wrong
And this is not where you belong (where you belong)

I can't give everything away (This is not where you belong)
I won't give everything away

I know, I know all about, I know, I know all about,
I know, I know all about, I know, I know all about,
your motives inside, and your decision to hide

Back off, I'll take you on
Headstrong to take on anyone
I know that you are wrong
Headstrong, we're headstrong
Back off, I'll take you on
Headstrong to take on anyone
I know that you are wrong
And this is not where you belong (where you belong)
This is not where you belong

I can't give everything away (This is not where you belong)
I won't give everything away (This is not where you belong)

Remember The Name- By Fort Minor

You ready?! Lets go!
Yeah, for those of you that want to know what we're all about
It's like this y'all (c'mon!)

This is ten percent luck, twenty percent skill
Fifteen percent concentrated power of will
Five percent pleasure, fifty percent pain
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name!

[ Mike Shinoda ]
Mike! - He doesn't need his name up in lights
He just wants to be heard whether it's the beat or the mic
He feels so unlike everybody else, alone
In spite of the fact that some people still think that they know him
But **** em, he knows the code
It's not about the salary
It's all about reality and making some noise
Makin the story - makin sure his clique stays up
That means when he puts it down Tak's pickin it up! let's go!

[ Takbir ]
Who the hell is he anyway?
He never really talks much
Never concerned with status but still leavin them star struck
Humbled through opportunities given to him despite the fact
That many misjudge him 'cause he makes a livin from writin raps
Put it together himself, now the picture connects
Never askin for someone's help, to get some respect
He's only focused on what he wrote, his will is beyond reach
And now when it all unfolds, the skill of an artist

[ Ryu ]
It's just twenty percent skill
Eighty percent fear Be a hundred percent clear cause Ryu is ill
Who would've thought that he'd be the one that set the west in flames
Then I heard him wreckin with The Crystal Method, "Name Of The Game"
Came back dropped Megadef, took em to church
I like bleach man, why you have the stupidest verse?
This dude is the truth, now everybody givin him guest spots
His stock's through the roof I heard he ****in with S. Dot!

This is ten percent luck, twenty percent skill
Fifteen percent concentrated power of will
Five percent pleasure, fifty percent pain
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name!

[ Ryu ]
They call him Ryu The Sick
And he's spittin fire with Mike
Got him out the dryer he's hot
Found him in Fort Minor with Tak
Been a ****in nihilist porcupine
He's a prick, he's a copThe type woman want to be with, and rappers hope he get shot
Eight years in the makin, patiently waitin to blow
Now the record with Shinoda's takin over the globe
He's got a partner in crime, his shit is equally dope
You wont believe the kind of shit that comes out of this kid's throat

[ Takbir ]
Tak! - He's not your everyday on the block
He knows how to work with what he's got
Makin his way to the top
People think its a common owners name
People keep askin him was it given at birth
Or does it stand for an acronym? No
He's livin proof, Got him rockin the booth
He'll get you buzzin quicker than a shot of vodka with juice
Him and his crew are known around as one of the best
Dedicated to what they do give a hundred percent

[ Mike Shinoda ]
Forget Mike - Nobody really knows how or why he works so hard
It seems like he's never got time
Because he, writes every note and he writes every line
And I've seen him at work when that light goes on in his mind
It's like a design is written in his head every time
Before he even touches a key or speaks in a rhyme
And those motherRED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOers he runs with, those kids that he signed?
Ridiculous, without even trying, how do they do it?!

This is ten percent luck, twenty percent skill
Fifteen percent concentrated power of will
Five percent pleasure, fifty percent pain
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name!

This is ten percent luck, twenty percent skill
Fifteen percent concentrated power of will
Five percent pleasure, fifty percent pain
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name!

[Outro - Mike Shinoda]
Yeah! Fort Minor
M. Shinoda - Styles of Beyond
Ryu! Takbir! Machine Shop!

Well I don't like it as a matter of fact. And by saying rap I was indicating mainstream rap.

The underlying question is then: do you find beauty in mainstream rap? I know I don't. They refer to their women as "Ho" and "Bit**" and their lyrics are filled with nothing but hate. Not to mention the terrible, and I mean TERRIBLE influence it has on proper English. It infuriates me to see "Yao hommie, was up, wuz wonderin if we culd go c a movie tonite? Das ill if we culd."

Seriously... Not only are words twisted, but people start using them out of context as well. I don't know if anyone actually knows this but everyone today (and I mean everyone) uses slang when describing many things. The slang is "a lot". "A lot" was used a long time ago when people thought it was cute to have fun with the English language. Now personally, I don't mind it. But imagine if we all started using words like "ill, hommie, dawg" and many more I can't think off the top of my head.

My point is, rap (the mainstream) is.... well crap.

The Darkest Nights by As I Lay Sying

For so long I have felt alone
Content to live with unrest
Longing faded into countless nights
That buried my weary heart
But You brought an end
To this dead hour
And meaning to a calloused life
Held in Your arms
But too far from my heart (x2)

These thoughts will carry me
Through The darkest nights
While Your eyes rest in...
These thoughts will carry me
Through The darkest nights

While Your eyes rest in mine
I remember the way You looked at me
And the way You drew me close
With one deep sigh
Scattering pieces of my restless mind
Forgetting all that we have left behind

Runnin' (Dying To Live) by Tupac

[Chorus]
You know, I wonder if they'll laugh when I am dead
Why am I fighting to live, if I'm just living to fight
Why am I trying to see, when there aint nothing in sight
Why I am I trying to give, when no one gives me a try
Why am I dying to live, if I'm just living to die

[Notorious B.I.G.]
Check it, I grew up a RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOin screw up
Got introduced to the game, got a ounce and RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOin blew up
Choppin rocks overnight
The nigga Biggie Smalls tryin ta turn into the black Frank White
We had to grow dreads to change our description
Two cops is on the milk box missin
Show they toes you know they got stepped on
A fist full of bullets a chest full of Teflon
Run from the police picture that, nigga I'm too fat
I RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO around and catch a asthma attack
That's why I bust back, it don't phase me
When he drop, take his glock, and I'm Swayze
Summer break, my escape, sold the glock, bought some weight
Laid back, I got some money to make, motherRED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOer

[Chorus]

[2Pac] its on me
And still I'm havin memories of high speeds, when the cops crashed
As I laugh pushin the gas when my glocks blast
We was young, and we was dumb but we had heart
In the dark when we survived through the bad parts
Many dreams is what I had, and many wishes
No hesitation in extermination of these snitches
And these bitches they still continue to per sue me
A couple of movies now the whole world tryin to screw me
even the cops tried to sue me
So what can I do but stay true, sippin 22's a brewin
now the medias tryin to test me got the press askin questions, tryin to stress
me
misery is all I see, thats my mind's state
My history with the police is shakin' the crime rate
Ma main man had 2 stikes, slipped, got arrested and flipped
He screamed 'Thug Life!' and emptied the clip
gots tired of runnin from the motherRED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOin police

[Chorus]

[Biggie]
I was shocked at everything! Ya know what im sayin. I wasn't more shocked at him dying.
I was more shocked at him. Pac' is a strong dude... I know him... You know what I'm sayin?...
Real strong... so it was when he got shot I was more like "again". You know what I'm sayin?...
He always gettin shot or shot at... He gon' pull threw this one again, make a few of records about it and its gon be over..
You know, then when he died I was like 'Woah'... you know what I'm sayin...
it kinda took me by suprise... even though we was going threw our drama I would NEVER
wish death on nobody! 'cause there ain't no comin back from death [echo].....

Young man, there's no need to feel down.
I said, young man, pick yourself off the ground.
I said, young man, 'cause you're in a new town
There's no need to be unhappy.

Young man, there's a place you can go.
I said, young man, when you're short on your dough.
You can stay there, and I'm sure you will find
Many ways to have a good time.

It's fun to stay at the y-m-c-a.
It's fun to stay at the y-m-c-a.

They have everything for young men to enjoy,
You can hang out with all the boys ...

It's fun to stay at the y-m-c-a.
It's fun to stay at the y-m-c-a.

You can get yourself clean, you can have a good meal,
You can do whatever you feel ...

Young man, are you listening to me?
I said, young man, what do you want to be?
I said, young man, you can make real your dreams.
But you've got to know this one thing!

No man does it all by himself.
I said, young man, put your pride on the shelf,
And just go there, to the y.m.c.a.
I'm sure they can help you today.

It's fun to stay at the y-m-c-a.
It's fun to stay at the y-m-c-a.

They have everything for you men to enjoy,
You can hang out with all the boys ...

It's fun to stay at the y-m-c-a.
It's fun to stay at the y-m-c-a.

You can get yourself clean, you can have a good meal,
You can do whatever you feel ...

Young man, I was once in your shoes.
I said, I was down and out with the blues.
I felt no man cared if I were alive.
I felt the whole world was so jive ...

That's when someone came up to me,
And said, young man, take a walk up the street.
It's a place there called the y.m.c.a.
They can start you back on your way.

It's fun to stay at the y-m-c-a.
It's fun to stay at the y-m-c-a.

They have everything for young men to enjoy,
You can hang out with all the boys ...

It's fun to stay at the y-m-c-a
It's fun to stay at the y-m-c-a
Young man, young man, there's no need to feel down
Young man, young man, pick yourself off the ground

It's fun to stay at y-m-c-a
It's fun to stay at the y-m-c-a
Young man, young man, are you listening to me?
Young man, young man, what do you wanna be?

y-m-c-a
you'll find it at the y-m-c-a
no man, young man, does it all by himself
young man, young man, put your pride on the shelf

Y-m-c-a
then just go to the y-m-c-a
y-m-c-a
young man, young man, i was once in your shoes
y-m-c-a
young man, young man, I said, I was down and out with the blues.
y-m-c-a

Lady by:Regina Spektor

Lady sing the blues so well
As if she mean it
As if it's hell down here
In the smoke-filled world
Where the jokes are cold
They don't laugh at jokes
They laugh at tragedies

Corner street societies
But they believe her
They never leave her
While she sings she make them feel things
She says, I can sing this song so blue
That you will cry in spite of you
Little wet tears on your baby's shoulder
Little wet tears on your baby's shoulder

And I have walked these streets so long
There ain't nothing right, there ain't nothing wrong
But the little wet tears on my baby's shoulder
The little wet tears on your baby's shoulder

Lady lights a cigarette, puffs away, no regret
Takes a look around, no regrets, no regrets
Stretches out like branches of a poplar tree
She says, I'm free
Sings so soft as if she'll break, says
I can sing this song so blue
That you will cry in spite of you
Little wet tears on your baby's shoulder
Little wet tears on your baby's shoulder

I have walked these streets so long
There ain't nothing right, nothing wrong
But the little wet tears on my baby's shoulder
The little wet tears on your baby's shoulder

But on this stage
I've learned to fly
Learned to sing
And learned to cry
Little wet tears on my baby's shoulder
Little wet tears on my baby's shoulder

But now it's time
To say goodbye
Some might laugh
But I will surely cry
Little wet tears on my baby's shoulder
Little wet tears on my baby's shoulder

Lady lights a cigarette
Puffs away, and winter comes
And she forgets

Not my favourite, but a pretty damn good epic song:

Amon Amarth
Victorious March

Ten heavy feet
Walks the bloodsoiled ground
With rhythm these
Five warriors march

No matter how much
The bleeding wounds
From enemy swordcuts
Hurts to the bone

The revenge they sought
Was taken in blood
No mercy was showed
No mercy was showed

They ignore the pain
That hammerlike pounds
From falls, off slain
Horses, to the ground

No signs of weakness
No signs of weariness
Not even a glimce
Of remorse in their eyes

They slew men ruthless
Fed the wolves with flesh
And now they leave
This land side by side

Now they're headed home
Five swordsmen who fought repentlessly
Their story will be told
Of five brave men endlessly

All sorrow is left
For the woman to bare
The children cries
They live in fear

No man was spread
No houses or farm remains
No christian woman........
Their church consumed by flames

Their steel shines red
With enemy blood
It sings of victory
Granted by the Gods
And as they return
Bleeding but proud
The horizon burns
And the song is ringing loud

Far Away Boys By Flogging Molly

Well I worked on the railroad
For t'pence a day
Drank down one penny
The other I'd save
I hammered and I hammered
For God knows how long
Well into madness, with each setting sun
I put my head down and I dreamt you were here
With me by the ol' tree, where no one could care

Far Away Boys, Far Away Boys
Away from ya now
I'm lyin' with my sweetheart
In her arms I'll be found

Then the sun belched upon me
You were no longer here
Lyin' in your place was my hammer and my gear
So I stamped out the fire that kept us both warm
The ashes were fallin'
Like the snow drops of old
We came to a mountain
Dynamite and she'll blow
A big hole in that rock
Like the one in my soul

Far Away Boys, Far Away Boys
Away from ya now
I'm lyin' with my sweetheart
In her arms I'll be found

We buried four workmen
They dug themselves well
From four empty coffins, to four early graves
They're only paddys, just paddys
Don't dig them too deep
You'll need all your strength boys
And they're replaced easily
With the heat I was melting
Into your sweet lips
Ah, your kiss takes me back
Takes me back from all this

Far Away Boys, Far Away Boys
Away from ya now
I'm lyin' with my sweetheart
In her arms I'll be found

Someone said it was Christmas
But not a tree was in sight
The only thing growin' was my will to die
Till the gaffer said 'men, your work here is done'
I said 'I'll see you in Hell, on that train we died for'
Never again, will I smell your sweet dream
But a pissed stained ol' gutter where:
You lips used to be

Far Away Boys, Far Away Boys
Away from ya now
I'm lyin' with my sweetheart
In her arms I'll be found

(its a really slow song that has olny a banjo in the backround very sad and touching though)

Bathory-One Rode To Asa Bay

One man rode the way through the woods
Down to Asa bay
Where dragon ships had sailed to sea
More times than one could say
To see with own eyes the wonder
People told of from man to man
The God of all almightyness
Had arrived from a foreign land

The rumours told of a man
Who had come from the other side the seas
Carrying gold cross around neck in chain
And spoke in strange tongue of peace
He had come with strange men in armour
Dressed in purple shirts and lace
Smelling not of beer but flowers
And with no hair in face

And the bold man carrying cross
Had told all one of Asa bay
The God of all man woman child had come
To them all save
And to thank Lord of Heaven
One should build to God a house
And to save one's soul from Hell
One should be baptised and say vows

A man of pride with the Hammer told new God
To build his house on own
And spoke loud of the Gods of their fathers
Not too long time gone
The rumours said the man with a beard like fire
And the Hammer in chain
By men in armour silenced was and by
Their swords was slain

Those who did not pay the one coin
Of four to man of new God
Whipped was twenty and put in chains then locked
By their neck to the log (To the log...)
And so all of Asa bay did build
A house of the cross
Every hour of daylight they did sweat
Limbs ached because faith does cost

And on the day two hundred
There it stood white to the sky
The house of the God of the cross
Big enough to take two dragon ships inside
And all of Asa bay did watch
The wonder raise to the sky
Now must the God of the cross be pleased
And satisfied

Just outside the circle of the crowd
One old man did stand
He looked across the waters
And blotted the sun out of his eyes with one hand
And his old eyes could almost see
The dragon ships set sail
And his old ears could almost hear
Men of great numbers call out Oden's hail

And though he did know already
Though he turned face towards sky
And whispered silent words forgotten
Spoken only way up high
Now this house of a foreign God does stand
Now must they leave us alone
Still he heard from somewhere in the woods
Old crow of wisdom say
...people of Asa land, it's only just begun...

P.O.D - Satellite
Satellite
Satellite
Verse 1:
I wonder how clear it must look from there to here
No obstruction, this selfish corruption
All in this atmosphere
No fear, less tears, only time to catch my breath
I fail to inhale
Your love constricts my chest
Confusion blinded me, mental and physically
And it's because of you that now I can see
So now I can run. I follow the Son and ride on to Zion
And dance this last song of freedom
But only time will tell, if it's truly for real
Can't change your mind, all I know this is what I feel
Whether I'm wrong or right, please keep my life in sight
And never take you eyes off me
Bridge:
As I look up to the sky today
Well I can see you looking down on me
It brings a smile to my face again
S-S-S-Satellite
Chorus:
Satellite
Satellite
Verse 2:
It's truly one of a kind, like star shine, beyond night time, are you there
My eyes stare to find, just what's behind this blind notion of mine, is it
genuine
Cause sometimes, it plays tricks with my mind, some call it asinine
But it's like love or hate, now is that real or fake?
Cause it's a real thin line, but that's your choice to make
The question at hand, help me understand, is this your plan?
I think I can, can I think, then I think I can
Because I won't break (nah), and I won't shake (nah)
With lifted hands to this Man (Jah), I'll stand in faith
I'll make it through, my trust in you
Close my eyes, make a wish, kiss the sky
Hey there…I see you
Shining Light
Shining Light
Blinding Light
Blinding Light
Shining Light
Shining Light
Blinding Light
S-S-S-Satellite
Chorus:
Satellite
Satellite
Satellite (When I look up to the sky today, I can feel you looking down on me)
Satellite (It brings a smile to my face again, satellite)
Satellite
Satellite
S-s-s satellite, my Guiding Light
Guiding Light
Shining Bright
Shining Bright
Guiding Light
Guiding Light
Satellite (As I look up to the sky today)
Satellite
Blinding Light (satellite)
Blinding Light
Shining Light (It brings a smile to my face again)
Shining Light
Guiding Light
Guiding Light
It's truly one of a kind, like star shine, beyond night time
Are you there? - (echo/repeat X 8)

It's hard to pick favorites.. So here's two I really like:

Dave Matthews Band - Crash

Straight in, suck up and go,
Cool it, swallow, swallow
Breathe deep, take it all
It comes cheap
Push it through the doors
Because in between the lines
I'm gonna pack more lines
So I can get in
Ooh traffic jam got more cars
Than a beach got sand
Suck it up, suck it up, suck it up,
Fill it up until no more
I'm no crazy creep, Ive got it coming
To me because I'm not satisfied
The hunger keeps on growing
I eat too much
I drink too much
I want too much
Too much

Ive got to get it somewhere
I mean, you never know, maybe you're dreaming
Who do you think you're watching
Who do you think you need
Play for me, play more,
Ten times in the same day
I need more, I'm going
Over my borders
I'm going to take more, more
From you, letter by letter

I eat too much
I drink too much
I want too much

Too much

I told, god, I'm coming
To your country
I'm going to eat up your cities,
Your homes, you know
Ive got a stomach full its not
A chip on my shoulder
Ive got this growl in my tummy
And I'm gonna stop it today

I eat too much
I drink too much
I want too much
Too much

Suck it up...

Dave Matthews Band - Crash into me

You've got your ball
You've got your chain
Tied to me tight tie me up again
Who's got their claws
In you my friend
Into your heart Ill beat again
Sweet like candy to my soul
Sweet you rock
And sweet you roll
Lost for you I'm so lost for you
You come crash into me
And I come into you
I come into you
In a boys dream
In a boys dream
Touch your lips just so I know
In your eyes, love, it glows so
Im bare boned and crazy for you
When you come crash
Into me, baby
And I come into you
In a boys dream
In a boys dream
If Ive gone overboard
Then I'm begging you
To forgive me
In my haste
When I'm holding you so girl
Close to me
Oh and you come crash
Into me, baby
And I come into you
Hike up your skirt a little more
And show the world to me
Hike up your skirt a little more
And show your world to me
In a boys dream.. in a boys dream
Oh I watch you there
Through the window
And I stare at you
You wear nothing but you
Wear it so well
Tied up and twisted
The way Id like to be
For you, for me, come crash
Into me

A Gunshot To The Head Of Trepidation
By Trivium

You starve your children on neglect
Then feed their bellies with fear
Concussion bat to the brain
Witness to a battered mother

[Chorus]
Your abuse will end right here
No longer will your family fear
A gunshot to head of trepidation
My promise if you ever lay a finger

Just look at the scars you make
Your terror makes your kids break
A broken home just as you were raised
With fist raised up to your children

[Chorus]

This battle is on all
You've made beautiful
Now hateful
You wretched life wrecker
Abuser
Now suffer

Open fire
On the desire of the man
Open fire
With strife we'll strike down the hand
(Open fire, build the pyre)
If I can't make you see the damage you've made
(Open fire, build the pyre)
I'll make you wish you'd never been alive x2

Becoming The Dragon
By Trivium

-Solo-

Forming the river ascending
They admit there were purpose
Nitch the door finds
The holes inside diversity
Against the current to
Obtain the highest goal

Swim through the sins of sovereign
Climb to the falls of dragons gate
Become
Transform a boy into a beast
Dragon

A merit symbol of courage
No way we'll shatter these scales
(Shatter these scales)

Dreams of freeing a _
Water falls from the head
What they left to do

Swim through the sins of sovereign
Climb to the falls of dragons gate
Become
Transform a boy into a beast
Dragon

Don't ever stop, to becoming a
This dragon will rise and be king

-Solo-

I'm a witness to a great form
Evolution is complete
A breath that turns into
Clouds producing rain or fire
Watch the world move
According to each desire

Swim through the sins of sovereign
Swim through the sins of sovereign
Climb to the falls of dragons gate
Become
Transform a boy into a beast
Dragon

Young man, there's no need to feel down.
I said, young man, pick yourself off the ground.
I said, young man, 'cause you're in a new town
There's no need to be unhappy.

Young man, there's a place you can go.
I said, young man, when you're short on your dough.
You can stay there, and I'm sure you will find
Many ways to have a good time.

It's fun to stay at the y-m-c-a.
It's fun to stay at the y-m-c-a.

They have everything for you men to enjoy,
You can hang out with all the boys ...

It's fun to stay at the y-m-c-a.
It's fun to stay at the y-m-c-a.

You can get yourself clean, you can have a good meal,
You can do what about you feel ...

Young man, are you listening to me?
I said, young man, what do you want to be?
I said, young man, you can make real your dreams.
But you got to know this one thing!

You can get yourself clean, you can have a good meal,
You can do what about you feel ...

Young man, I was once in your shoes.
I said, I was down and out with the blues.
I felt no man cared if I were alive.
I felt the whole world was so tight ...

That's when someone came up to me,
And said, young man, take a walk up the street.
There's a place there called the y.m.c.a.
They can start you back on your way.

It's fun to stay at the y-m-c-a.
It's fun to stay at the y-m-c-a.

They have everything for you men to enjoy,
You can hang out with all the boys ...

Y-m-c-a ... you'll find it at the y-m-c-a.

Young man, young man, there's no need to feel down.
Young man, young man, get yourself off the ground.

Y-m-c-a ... you'll find it at the y-m-c-a.

Young man, young man, there's no need to feel down.
Young man, young man, get yourself off the ground.

Y-m-c-a ... just go to the y-m-c-a.

Young man, young man, are you listening to me?
Young man, young man, what do you wanna be?
